With over 30 years in vocational rehabilitation and medical case management, Marcy Tigerman brings a world of experience to VDI.
She is a Certified Rehabilitation counselor, Certified Disability Management Specialist, Certified Case Manager and Certified Life Care Planner. Based in Tucson, Arizona, Marcy is VDI’s local presence in Southern Arizona for cases that are focused in Southern Arizona.

Marcy earned her Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Arizona in Tucson. For over 20 years, Marcy worked with industrially-injured workers in Southern Arizona managing catastrophic injury cases, negotiating with vendors and providing counseling to injured workers and their families. Marcy is also actively involved in Long Term Disability claims where she provides vocational rehabilitation services. Marcy is an accomplished expert witness in cases involving evaluation of earning capacity arising from personal injury and in cases involving alleged medical negligence.

When she is not performing earning capacity evaluations and return to work assessments with VDI, Marcy is involved with the Veteran’s Administration independent living program and providing community re-entry services for survivors of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and clinical coordination for a home and community-based brain injury treatment program.

Marcy is a professional member of the National Rehabilitation Association, National Rehabilitation Counseling Association, Arizona Rehabilitation Association, International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP), the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) and the Arizona Work Disability Prevention Association.
