Aubrey is a Licensed Professional Counselor
(LPC) in Arizona, a Certified Rehabilitation
Counselor (CRC) and Certified Guidance
Counselor in Arizona for grades K-12. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and does clinical interviews and administers vocational test batteries in both English and Spanish. Aubrey has testified as an expert in matters involving loss of earning capacity.

Aubrey earned her Bachelor of Arts with a dual major in Psychology and Spanish from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. She then traveled through México and South America for a year before attending graduate school at The University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW). She graduated from UW in 2002 with her Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Psychology.

Prior to joining VDI in 2006, Aubrey was an adjunct Spanish faculty member at both Pima Community College in Tucson, AZ and Coconino Community College in Flagstaff. She was also employed as a high school counselor and worked in community mental health, primarily with underserved populations.

A native of Arizona, Aubrey has recently relocated to Boulder, CO, where she oversees VDI’s new office to serve Colorado and the Rocky Mountain states. She is looking forward to being at the forefront of expanding VDI’s services in this geographic area. Aubrey’s fiancé is the new principal of a prominent high school in Boulder, and he and Aubrey are looking forward to multiple new opportunities in Colorado.

Aubrey spends any free time she has in the outdoors, hiking, canoeing, backpacking, biking, traveling and spending time with their 3 dogs. She looks forward to many years to come with VDI and is excited for the future opportunities both nationally and in her new state of Colorado.
